This image is a new personal project I've just finished. The idea was to do a room in a house where the occupants had recently moved in and try to get the character from that. I tried to get a clash of older and more modern objects, like the old fashioned, antique style desk and newish, ikea-like bookcase to suggest a state of transition. I spent a lot of time trying to work interesting shapes in the objects, composition and lighting and also tried to get some nice variation in the shaders. Next up I'm gonna try a night / candle lit version!
